When do I take the exam?
Exams are done by appointment. The South Carolina Real Estate Commission will send you the necessary paperwork for setting the appointment, which takes approximately two weeks. You can take the exam after completing to 60-hour pre-licensing course, but cannot take the exam until you have also completed the 30-hour Advanced Principles Course.
Do most people pass the exam the first time?
Most students will pass it the first time but it is directly related to the effort a person puts into the class. This includes attending all sessions, paying full attention in classes, participating in classroom activities, reading and studying the materials. We do not guarantee a person will pass and no refunds are given if they do not. We do, however, guarantee our instructors will do their part by delivering the content in a comprehensive manner and answering students’ questions and concerns.
